Hit me with those dark fruits, cassis, cherries, and some nice vanilla. Not as attuned to my Pauillac’s as I should be, could be for my interest in non French wines. However this was a delight to drink. Nicely balanced, oak hit the mark, and was easily session-able. Yes you can drink a couple of bottles of these rather easily, considering the high tannins. At around £35 bottle / £7 a glass, this is a decent affordable Pauillac wine that you definitely should try.
