Oft! An absolute smack in the face explosion of flavours. Everything a Tempranillo gives with the soured cherry, strawberry, leather, tobacco, with some vegetal then the oak flavours of cedar, vanilla, and baking spices come in, with the cabernet Sauvignon gives a long smooth finish at the end. The colour is fantastic, and at 14.5% you can feel the alcohol. But that doesn’t take away from he wine it’s self. A random – a what the hell purchase, but worth it. As a fan of Spanish wines, this Portuguese number certainly scratches that itch, for a lot less £. I’m sure after another hour this will open up even better.
Drank on the 02/02/2023, Aired for an hour before tasting – maybe worth decanting.
