Didn’t air it, went straight for the kill. First glass of course was ok, the third glass however, was lovely. Like a warm cherry pie, just melts in the your mouth. The structure of the wine is outstanding, even through its 14,5%, I can easily session one or two bottles of this, and most likely will only notice the alcohol when I stand up. The French oak comes through, and it is subtle but just brings balance to the wine overall. Tannins are on point, and it’s just a bloody good bottle of wine.
